Nicole Ari Parker (born Nicole Ari Parker) is an American actress who works in the fields of film, television and theatre. Contractor, born in Mumbai in India she was raised in Nigeria from the time she was seven. She was already exposed to many different travels and cultures from a early age. After a single semester at the University, Contractor went to an open audition for the play Pericles at the world-class famous, world-class Stratford Shakespeare Festival [Ontario, Canada and was offered the leading role. She received rave reviews for her performances in the 92 shows performed the play was voted as the best production by Canadian critics in 2002. The conservatory in Stratford is home to eight males as well as four females as well as a few other people for a 20 week crash course. Contractor received a guaranteed spot for the following season.
